Randy, one of our favorite customers, riding to work on his Alfine and belt-drive-equipped Budnitz No.1 in today’s Denver snowstorm. Randy put spiked tires on the bicycle to get through 18 inches of snow.
The great thing about the Alfine internal hub & belt drive is that when Randy gets home he can just hose the bike off. No grease or gunk in the chain.
Note the coffee cup in the bottle holder. Randy is my hero.
